My clients…
I’m passionate about helping clients find relief from a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
One of my areas of expertise is supporting folks on their way to becoming parents or expanding their families. This means helping them through fertility issues and mood disorders throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.
I have extensive experience supporting professionals working for international organizations in the United States and Latin America.
My style and approach…
I’m bilingual with a multicultural background, so I’m comfortable and competent in working with diverse backgrounds, immigrants, and those who appreciate a warm, compassionate style.
I believe creating a supportive environment where you and your nervous system feel safe is of utmost importance. A secure, comfortable environment lets you courageously explore, transform, and heal deep wounds.
With a trauma-informed approach, I integrate principles from mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower you on your journey toward healing.
Some of my background…
I’m licensed in both Virginia (VA) and Washington, DC.
I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Chicago School for Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s in international relations. I have advanced training in CBT and ACT.
During my career, I’ve enjoyed helping communities around the world. In 2008, I participated in a business development project where I created and managed a series of public seminars on basic business principles with a team of students in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2011, I trained local teachers, orphanage workers, and other childcare professionals on trauma in Kigali, Rwanda.
I can’t wait to meet you!
If you’re ready to embark on a journey of growth and transformation, I’m here to support you.
